Woohoo! Bike News!

I must apologize for my long absence. Between bronchitis, an insane work schedule, and a broken bike, I haven't managed to do much riding or writing lately. I've also had a lot of other stuff on my mind, and have been struggling with a sleep deprivation-induced depression.

Over the past several days, I finally managed to get a more-or-less normal quantity of sleep. Today, the 'broken bike' problem got fixed (Quicksilver got new pedals ... I'm looking forward to trying them out!!!). And better still, I got an early Christmas present from DD upon arriving home -- an aluminum road frame with carbon fiber stays and fork, so I can build up a speedy winter bike.

I am totally psyched about the new frame, and looking forward to building it up and giving it a name!

Meanwhile, fall term is just about over. I made a 104.something in Psych, good enough for an A+, so I'm feeling pretty great about that. Because of the way the Psych department is set up, I also don't have to take a final exam. w00t! I may still have some work to do for my labor studies class — I'm hoping our prof will tell us soon, since the end of this week is the end of the term.

Anyway, that's it for now.

I hope you're all doing well out there in Bloggerland!

  1. Wow, a new bike, that's really exciting! What sort of frame is it?

Also, congrats on the A+, that's amazing!
